When new PVC, polyethylene, ductile iron and fiberglass sewer pipes are installed, deflection testing is always part of the process. Our Stationary Steel Gauges, Multi-Size Steel Gauges and our new aluminum Whistle GaugesTM are:

Reduce The Risk of Ever Having a Stuck Deflection Gauge Again! Hurco’s Stationary Deflection Gauge and super fast Whistle Gauge™ are now available with TKO™technology. Just a quick flick of the backup rope and the hammer action of the TKO™ knocks the gauge out. Have a stuck gauge? Give it a “Technical Knock Out!”
1. The deflection gauge parachute inflates when the RIPCORD or Super RIPCORD starts up.
2. The Whistle Gauge is pulled through the pipe, manhole to manhole, in a blazing 40 seconds or less!
3. When the gauge becomes stuck, the rope is pulled back forcing the TKO "hammer action" to take place.
4. The opposite end plate slams against the body of the gauge, causing a hammer action to occur, forcing the gauge loose.
5. The gauge is simply pulled from the pipe and the pipe is repaired while you move to the next section without delay.
• The RIPCORD pulls the Whistle Gauge manhole-to-manhole in 17 seconds or less. Do 5 days work in 1 -- More production means more profits.

HURCO MULTI SIZE GAUGE
Our unique design of Multi-Size gauges means fewer parts and is self-storing, unlike other manufacturer's models having up to 31 loose parts and requiring a carrying case! HURCO designs keep the operation and the operator in mind.
Small multi-size gauge covers a range from 6" to 18". ( Comes complete with 8", 10" and 12" ) Skid length for the small multi-size gauge is 17".
Large Multi-size gauge covers 15" to 27". ( Comes complete with 18", 21" and 24") Large multi-size gauge has a skid length of 21.5".
PROVING RINGS Using HURCO Proving Rings Insures that you have a more precise Measurement Although HURCO Gauges can be certified in the field with a + (plus) or - (minus) accuracy of 1/16 of an inch, some engineers and municipalities will require an even more precise form of measure. HURCO has a full line of proving rings from 4" to 27" with a + (plus) or - (minus) accuracy of 0.020. HURCO Proving Rings are the best way to determine the accuracy of deflection test gauges.
